Our research.

The Leak Checker of the University of Bonn has emerged from the BMBF-funded project EIDI. EIDI stands for "Effective Information after Digital Identity Theft". The aim of the project is to warn affected victims of identity theft in an automated way with the help of cooperating partners, without them having to know the service of the University of Bonn. To this end, we are researching in an interdisciplinary team, consisting of psychologists, lawyers, data protection experts and computer scientists, how this goal can be achieved in the most sensible way.
